🗂️ Recycling in Lue Village
Two Village Recycling Points
Location 1: At the beginning of the village near the village entry
Location 2: In front of the church, next to the kids' playground
What goes there: Bottles, plastics, paper, glass - all the usual recycling
Sorting Made Easy
Under the kitchen sink: Bins labeled for plastic, paper, general waste, glass, etc.
Always use: Green biodegradable bags in these bins to help with your sorting
Extra bags: Available under the kitchen sink
Sort as you go: Much easier than doing it all at the end
🌱 Composting System
Kitchen Compost
Compost bin: Kitchen compost bin provided - empty into compost area around back of house (in front of greenhouse)
Compost guidelines: Vegetable waste and paper kitchen towel only - all meat scraps and bones go in regular bin
🗑️ General Waste
House Waste Skip
Location: To the left of the house
Collection: Every couple of days
What goes there: All your general rubbish that doesn't get recycled
Easy System
Just bag your general waste and pop it in the skip - simple as that.

Sort daily: Use the labeled bins under the sink to separate as you go
Drop off on trips: Take recycling when you're driving out and about - easy to drop off
Bag it up: Keep everything bagged for hygiene and collection ease
When in doubt: General waste skip handles anything that doesn't recycle

Yellow containers: Plastic bottles, cans, packaging
Blue containers: Paper and cardboard
Green containers: Glass bottles and jars
General waste: Everything else goes in our house skip
