Welcome to your 1905 casona! We've designed our check-in process to be simple and flexible, whether we're here to greet you personally or you're arriving independently at this beautifully restored house with the distinctive blue galería.
🕒 Check-in hours & process
Personal Welcome (Preferred)
When: Between 3pm and 9pm
What happens: We'll be at the property to welcome you personally, show you around this historic casa, and answer any questions about the house and area.
Self Check-In (Flexible)
When: Outside 3pm-9pm hours or if we're unavailable
What happens: We'll send detailed instructions to your WhatsApp, and your key will be waiting in our secure lockbox.
Please make sure you have read the parking instructions.
Check-In Flexibility
We understand travel plans change! If you need to arrive outside our standard hours, just let us know and we'll arrange everything for your arrival time.

24-48 hours before arrival: Check-in confirmation, directions, wifi code and a link to Chekin for you to fill in your ID (Spanish requirement)

Self Check-In Process:
Key location: Secure lockbox on the front door
Finding the lockbox: When facing the front door, look to the right side of the verandah. Take a seat on the end of the old workman's bench (now a comfortable seat) and you'll see the grey lockbox mounted on the door frame
Access code: We'll send you the lockbox code via WhatsApp a few days before your arrival
Important: When taking keys out, be sure to jiggle the code to lock it again
Handy tip: Great place to leave keys if you have multiple people staying - prevents keys getting lost!

🚪 The Historic Door - Important!
This is the original door from 1905 - it works differently from modern doors:
How to Open:
Two-panel design - you need to open the top half first
Unlock the top panel with the key
Reach over the top and turn the wooden lock inside
Push the bottom panel to enter

Why it's like this: This traditional Asturian door design kept animals out while allowing airflow - clever early 20th-century solution!
🚗 Parking at Casona Azul Llue
Simple parking: Space for 2 cars directly in front of the house. If you have more vehicles, you can double park for up to 4 cars total, or park one car further down the road and keep the others in front.

Spanish Legal Requirement
All guests must be officially registered before or upon arrival - this is Spanish law, not just our policy.

We'll send you the link: Before your arrival, we'll send you a secure link to Chekin (digital registration system)
Complete online: Takes 2-3 minutes with passport/ID
Automatic processing: No paperwork on arrival
