🚗 DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Asturias Airport to Casona Azul Llue:
Exit airport and follow A-8 Autopista East toward Santander
Take Exit 346 toward Venta El Pobre/Lastres
At roundabout, follow signs toward Lastres
Look for Llue turn on your left (sometimes spelled "Lue")
Follow signs to Caserio San Antonio
From Other Airports:
Santander Airport: A-8 West → Exit 346 → Lastres → Llue
Madrid: A-6 → A-66 → A-64 → A-8 → Exit 346 (4.5 hours)
From Spanish Cities:
León: 1.5 hours
Santiago: 3.2 hours
Bilbao: 2.15 hours
🗺️ FINDING CASONA AZUL LLUE
GPS Backup (If Signal Fails):
Turn off A-8 at Exit 346 toward Venta El Pobre
Follow signs toward Lastres
Look for Llue turn on your left (may be spelled "Lue" or "Llue")
Our village has two signs with different spellings - both are correct!
Llue is just one street - if you reach Casa Bacho restaurant, you've gone too far
Turn around and head back toward the highway - you won't miss the blue galería from that direction
Look for: The house with the blue-painted front galería
🚐 CAR RENTAL - ESSENTIAL
Important: A car is absolutely necessary for your stay. Casona Azul Llue is in beautiful rural countryside with no public transport. You'll need a car for:
Accessing the property
Getting groceries (nearest supermarket 15 minutes)
Exploring Asturias' beaches and villages
🎯 Arrival Tips Best times:
Stop en route: - Fuel up in Colunga or Villaviciosa - Groceries at Alimerka (Colunga) or Mercadona (Villaviciosa) - Lunch at a traditional sidrería
The drive from highway is gorgeous - rolling green hills, stone farmhouses, proper countryside. Take it slow and enjoy!
